The Clallam County Code shall consist of titles, chapters and sections. Each title shall be an appropriate group of ordinances, based upon subject matter.

If an ordinance does not fall within an existing title, a new title shall be assigned. Ordinances shall be assigned to a title and chapter, after adoption, by the Clerk of the Board as a part of the codification process.

Title and chapter numbers are not adopted as part of the ordinance. Any existing County ordinances may be assigned a new title and chapter by the Clerk of the Board as part of a reorganization of the Clallam County Code.
