(1) Ordinances adopted prior to the date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, except those ordinances which state they are adopted as a chapter of this code, shall be codified in accordance with the procedures of this section.

(2) Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, all existing ordinances of Clallam County, Washington, not heretofore codified and determined by the Prosecuting Attorney to meet the requirements of the charter for codification, shall be placed in code form, as set forth in CCC 1.01.040 and 1.01.050, by the Clerk of the Board. No substantive changes shall be made to such ordinances. Codification of such ordinances shall not act as a repealer, and the ordinances shall remain binding and effective in their present form until repealed or amended.
